It's been a while since I felt like I "vacationed," and while it was still difficult to avoid thinking about the bane of my current existence, having little to no reception and limited wifi was certainly helpful during our two nights in the Catskills.
What made this trip particularly exciting was that I had found this charming inn through my favorite newsletter/magazine, The Great Discontent. The innkeeper, Casey, and her husband were interviewed just last month and soon thereafter it became a destination of reality for me and Cliff. As all the online reviewers had already stated about Casey, she truly made the experience a lovely one. We would love to return in the summer.
