I am nowhere near a level of activism that I want and need to be, so I want to point out that this may be my projection of my own problems. But for once in talking about this, despite my reticence, I will say what I want to say, to myself, and perhaps to some Asian Americans in positions similar to mine as well.
The problem is that I (we) only care when it seems directly relevant to me (us). When will I (we) do this for black lives and black justice? I (we) have the privilege of choice, to turn a blind eye or to not care and refuse to feel it.
The time is now to show up, whatever that means to you.
