1. If you hate yourself for accidentally "liking" a photo on Instagram that you characteristically would not like, you should probably un-follow the person (and so I did).

3. Infinite Jest has its really raw, and honest, and awesome moments, and then it has its really prosaic moments. There must be a reason for this. There MUST.
4. The NY Times says it's fall at 10:29 pm today, and Starbucks is serving pumpkin spiced lattes, but it by no means requires a sweater, coat, and scarf. Just looking at you is making me sweat.
5. I saw a new book, self-published, selling cheaper than my morning coffee. I hope that never happens to me. It might as well have been free, poor thing.
