I know I may not have some justification in saying this with such little experience in my metaphorical book of jobs, but this week has been taxing for me more than ever, in a professional sense, I suppose. Sure, I really hate presentations and feigning interest in the personal lives of people I don't know very well for the sake of building relationships, but at least those moments are over within an hour. Yes, I do prefer my current state, but I guess I'm not used to it. Secretly, I love it. I'm just spoiled because I prefer the stressful part out of the equation.
With that said, last night, Cliff and I took a pleasant stroll around our neighborhood after dinner. It was relaxing closure in the chaos of the day. Although, it wasn't as scenic as it was walking around downtown Cincinnati. You can say we were blessed by the Ohio River, sadly vacant buildings amidst "expensive" condos, and a pretty decent skyline. Oh, and I am not referring to chili.
