But, here's my opinion on "happy" blogs:
I think it's great that you can show the public that you have a "happy" life. And maybe you do. But we all know you don't. We know there's no way you only do fun things and have a lot of money to buy and wear nice things and have nothing else to do but showcase your life.
I use writing as my outlet, and that usually means those are times of emotional distress, or a lack of coherency. I hardly share positive things because I already store them in a special, warm fuzzy spot-- not in public. If I do share things that don't pertain to my emotional distress, it's usually neutral news.
Why should I be afraid of being honest in a space that is meant purely for me?
