Who Cares.

Question.

Why are negative situations more entertaining?

It's really sad but I don't know how else to express myself through writing unless it's an idea provoked by an angering situation.

Rarely, it'll be a situation when I feel like I am happy or blessed. Meaning doesn't seem to permeate well when it's expressed poorly through someone's very subjective happiness. Who the hell cares that your boyfriend got you an expensive piece of jewelry? Who the hell cares if your presentation went well?

It just doesn't seem to make any sense as to why these things would be important at all to anyone other than yourself and maybe that boyfriend and maybe your supervisor.

Yet,

if someone were to express their feelings of anger, sadness, or annoyance, it's
1) understood
2) relatable
3) mysterious
